Maintenance updates
Occasionally the software is updated to introduce minor improvements. The resulting updated version is offered to licensed clients as a so-called maintenance update (or maintenance release) that can be downloaded here. At the time of purchase of a license always the latest available version is put on the client's CDROM. You should check the Build code of your present edition in order to see if you need to download and install the current maintenance update. For this you should verify the Build code that is shown in JoinMap's Help-menu's About-box and compare that to the Build codes in the JoinMap Release Notes. There you will be able to see if there is a more recent release available. Alternatively, you may also use the JoinMap Help-menu function 'Check for Update'.
For convenience, the latest maintenance releases of JoinMap 4.1 and JoinMap 4 are available below.
JoinMap ® 5 (release of 19 January 2024, Build: 19jan2024.28jul2023)
If you possess a purchased JoinMap 5 license and your copy of JoinMap 5 has a different Build code, then you should download and install this maintenance update.
Instructions for download and installation of the maintenance update
- To download the installation program, enter the eight characters shown in the image and click the button:

- do not uninstall your current installation of JoinMap 5;
- run this 'JM5setup.exe' installation program and follow instructions;
- start JoinMap from the final page of this installation procedure;
- normally, you do not need to re-install your license file and you are done;
if for some reason you do need to install the license file,
then you should do so now using the Help-menu function 'Install License';
if you wish to do this at a later time, then you should start JoinMap with
administrator privileges and use this Help-menu function 'Install License'.
(Your license file is in the 'Licenses' directory of the CDROM you obtained from Kyazma.)
JoinMap ® 4.1 (last maintenance release of 31 July 2013, Build: 31jul13.4feb11)
If you possess a purchased JoinMap 4.1 license and your copy of JoinMap 4.1 has a different Build code, then you should download and install this maintenance update and re-install your individual license.
To download the evaluation copy installer of the last maintenance release of JoinMap 4.1 (size: ~4 MB), enter the eight characters shown in the image above and click the button:
